Fly Away Solo

For as long as I can remember
I’ve been stuck in this nest, watching life pass me by.
For as long as I can remember
I’ve been waiting for a special someone to carry me away.

I no longer want to be in this nest;
I no longer want to wait for that special someone.

Letting Go

Will I find true love, I may never know
All I know is that I'm letting go.

So I've finally decided to move on.

Lesson of The Day

Sometimes it's not a matter of what you say but it's how you say it. This is someone we tend to forget sometimes. This is a lesson that most of us have learned in elementary school. I think that if we all remembered that little lesson there would be less petty bickering.

A Thought About Stem Cell Research

I am a Youtube junkie. Once again I was wasting my time browsing through Youtube and once again, I cam across the topic of stem cell research. Of course, there's a big ethic debate that's going with steam cell research. Speaking of the ethic debate, here's a comment I made on a couple of Youtube videos regarding this topic.

Christians are against stem cell research because they consider that embryos have life. Well, trees also have life, but many of these Christians who are against stem cell research have no problems cutting down trees and destroying plant life to build a house or a big building.

My question to nobody who's reading this blog is this: Do you think that Christians (or anyone for that matter) who are against stem cell research but have no problem with cutting down trees hypocritical?

Christmas Poem

I looked out the window one Christmas Eve, and what did I see?
a bunch of thugs, robbing a Christmas tree.
They are the same thugs who are always starting fights.
They are the same thugs who stole everyone’s Christmas lights.

They came to rob us, that same Christmas Eve
So my dad stormed out of the house, and told them to leave.
But none of those thugs took him seriously
One of them even through a rock at him, but instead it hit me.
That made me angry and I started to throw a fit.
"That’s it" I said, "I’ve had it"
I grabbed my dad’s gun and fired one.
Before I knew it, they were on the run.

I gave those skeets one hell of a scare.
"Come back again!", I screamed, ‘If you dare.'
